HAMMOND — The Scottish Festival was held Saturday on the grounds of the Hammond Historical Museum. The event featured musical entertainment, Scottish-themed activities and vendors.

Musical acts included Rene Corbin, Kylie Stewart Rolon, Nicol Falls, Megan Pierce & Olivia Brown and the Hammond Ukulele Group. Jeff Forsyth, a member of the Brockville Pipes & Drums, also played the bagpipes. Nancy Skye, who teaches Scottish dance in Syracuse, performed traditional Scottish dance along with some of her students. They were accompanied by fiddler Henry Jankiewitz and Judy Hunt on the concertina.

A chicken barbecue was offered during the day at the Hammond Fire Hall. The day was topped off with the annual Hammond Field Day Parade.
